HyDSerbia HyDSerbia project in Serbia

With the ‘HyDSerbia’ project, Leipziger Energiegesellschaft mbH & Co. KG is pursuing an integrated project approach to the generation of green hydrogen. The aim is to construct a pilot plant, consisting of a PV generation and hydrogen production component, initially for the purpose of small-scale industrial production and the practical commercial use of green hydrogen at a location in the Republic of Serbia. It will provide the technical, regulatory and commercial basis and case study for a subsequent planned upscaling of green hydrogen production throughout the region of Serbia. Through the organisation of sustainable and reliable supply chains for the climate-neutrally produced energy source, part of the demand in the Federal Republic of Germany is also to be covered in the future.
